GLOWRIUM Smart Grow Light 10W – Full Spectrum LED for Indoor Plants-G8

I've been using this light for 2 weeks so far. I was mainly just using the controller where you can set a timer, brightness, and turn the lamp on and off. But I recently downloaded the app. I was reluctant to download the app because with a lot of these devices it doesn't really do much, but in this case it's a very powerful and easy to use app. You can set exact times and brightnesses for your lamp to turn on and off, or there is a setting for it to coordinate with your current sunrise sunset times. And you can also add plants to it! So if you wanted to, you can add various plants and have its lighting suggestions, and you can also turn on a feature to receive notifications to remind you of the watering schedule for those plants. I'm a busybody so I don't need reminders for watering, but if I had something more complex that needed to be watered less frequently than this would be incredibly helpful.
It is January in Northern Wisconsin, and I just received a set of succulents. The power of this lamp has proven itself by keeping my shipped succulents growing and happy. As you can imagine, my succulents arrived dormant and on the verge, and they are now bright and showing new growth. All from this light.
If you want to get fancy with it, you can bend the neck into interesting artful curves, but in my case, I'm using this for utilitarian purposes. It's a light with a timer. :-)
I should also mention that the app was the easiest device I have ever hooked up to my phone. As soon as I downloaded the app, it found the lamp, and all I had to do was click to add it.
Just remember that this has an unweighted base. So you do need to have a pot or something heavy and decorative at the base to hold it. It doesn't stand on its own.
I thought I was ordering a regular old grow light, but I am very impressed with all the features this came with. I got to do my thing I need you to hop out here you go Good bug good little bug

There is just simply no way you can go wrong with any of the plant lights from Glowrium… period. They are all fabulous and so functional. This one is a more specific light as it is meant to go under a plant. It has a nice ‘hook’ on the base that kind of stabilizes on the saucer underneath which is actually really helpful when you are moving the arm around. The lamp also is covered so you don’t have the harsh bulb staring at you like some. The solid win on these plant lights is the app control and ability to synchronize. The app is so easy to work, it finds and adds the lights in seconds and then schedule setup on a schedule and brightness etc are a breeze from there. You can also program in the specific kind of plant you are lighting and it will help you with a watering schedule. Glowrium usually offers most of their lights in black and white but this one is only offered in black right now. It would be nice to see other color options for this one, I would absolutely buy one in white. Even with that, there is nothing negative I can say about this light or any of the others I have from Glowrium at this point. Side note: some of the larger options can get pricey, this one is a steal at $25.

Looks nice in my living room. Doesn't look like the classic grow light. Easy 12 hour timer. Stands on its own without having to attach it to the pot or plant. A little expensive but ascetically worth it.

I really like this Smart Grow Light! It’s super lightweight, flexible, and easy to adjust, which makes it perfect for small indoor plants. The timer options (3/9/12 hours) are very convenient, and I love that there are 10 dimmable levels so I can control how much light each plant gets.

I’m a huge fan of the GLOWRIUM brand, and this grow light is another nice product from them. The app makes setup incredibly easy, and I love the options it gives—there’s a gradual on/off feature or the ability to set it to follow sunrise and sunset times. You can also set it up manually if you prefer, although I enjoy having the app - its just so easy. The GLOWRIUM app, also connects to several of my other lights from this brand.

The gooseneck is flexible and easy to maneuver, allowing you to direct the light exactly where you need it. Depending on how it’s positioned, it can fall over if the plant isn’t on the base, but that’s a minor issue. The light itself is high quality, with a full-spectrum LED that supports plant growth.

I also appreciate that it feels solid and well-built—not one of those cheap or awkward-looking grow lights. Overall, this is a quality piece that looks nice, works beautifully, and makes plant care effortless. This would be a nice gift for those who have indoor plants!
