Installing these lights was easy and straightforward, and I love that they’re so slim. I put these under one of my kitchen cabinets to supplement my growing collection of herbs and love the way it turned out! They don’t look out of place and were easy to angle to they hit my plants correctly to provide even light coverage. They have a controller built into the power cord to control the brightness of the light as well as having a built in timer, but if you use the app you have more options and it’s really easy to use. The price is reasonable and compatible to similar grow lights that I’ve seen, and so far they seem to be working well. My plants seem really happy and I’ve seen some fresh new shoots starting, so they must have really needed the extra light!

These light strips are smaller than I’d envisioned, but that's great and adds to their versatility. While I’m never excited to download another app, this one was easy and straightforward to install and use. I appreciate that the lights connect via Bluetooth, so I don't have to mess with Wi-Fi and switch back and forth between 2.4 and 5 GHz, etc. I’m actually so impressed with the functionality and quality of the lights and app, and I intend to seek out other Glowrium products, which will make the app even more worthwhile. I would say the quality is competitive with my Aerogarden and Modern Sprout lights, which were substantially more expensive, and light-years beyond what the alphabet soup brands typically provide at a similar or lower price points.

I had a question and emailed Glowrium’s customer service late in the evening and woke up to a courteous, thoughtful, and helpful response in my inbox the next morning.

The lights are adjustable and noticeably brighter than my overhead lighting when used at full power. You can set it so they turn on gradually and build up to full power, which is a nice feature. You can even set them up independently from each other, which I have no need for, but adds to their versatility.

The only negative I can find is that the clips that snap onto the back of the light strips for mounting are somewhat flimsy. Since the lights barely weigh anything, it may not be an issue, but I felt it was worth mentioning. Overall, the value for the price of these lights is impressive, especially considering how professional their app and customer service are.

I’m using these lights for my plants in a room that doesn’t get enough natural light, and they’ve made a huge difference. The full-spectrum glow looks natural and my plants seem much healthier already. The app makes it easy to set timers and adjust brightness, which saves me from having to remember.
